OUIL406 Visual Communication SB1 - Final Poster and GIF/Evaluation

Here are both the final pieces finished! I think photography wise, the final poster wasn't as nice as the previous attempt, largely because I had limited images to work with and had to improvise with some of the more blurrier photos but it definately worked better and had more impact with an increased number of photos. After all had been said and done about it through the week I think Tom and Hannah's GIF came out looking great, and even though we ended up splitting into two sub groups to work on them seperately I think they both work to communicate what the brief was requiring.

Overall, I think group work ended up being a beneficial experience for me - and having the opportunity to work with everyone in different roles was great. I feel like our outcome was perhaps not as creative as I would have liked, and I feel that the differences in working styles and tastes ended up getting in the way of that. I didn't really connect to this brief as much as I have done the previous ones, and I think if we go on to do more collaborative work in the future, I'd rather work in a smaller group of 2 or 3 individuals. I think the few failings we had were definately a matter of 'too many cooks spoil the broth', and constantly backtracking on our ideas eventually just made us all feel quite frustrated. Nobody has fallen out over it though, and I think our outcomes work together nicely as a set, so I think over all the brief was successful - if not very challenging at the very least.
