These are the first batch of photos we took with the first print out. We went to various shops, cafes, round the Leeds uni campus, and were happy to find people willing to join in and take a photo with it (The guy who works at flames seemed eerily too eager to pose with it)
We were lucky that the weather was relatively calm and that it didn't rain. previous days we'd planned to take photos had had to be cancelled due to the weather, so we ended up lucking out when we did this. Our contingency if it had interfered too much would have been just to restrict the photos to indoor environments.
The biggest challenge we found was trying to get the photos relative to the right frame. it wasnt so hard taking the photo on a flat surface, like a wall or a door but getting pictures of people stood just right was really difficult, and in the end we ended up sacrificing the uniformity of the frames for just getting some good quality photographs taken.
This was the initial 'final' poster I put together in photoshop. Whilst I was pleased with the end quality of the photos, The group agreed that really, to get the best impact, it was better to have more photos. Katie agreed to go and take some more, provided I assemble the final poster.
