These are the final scamps for the postcards and stamps, as well as further scamps for the final poster Idea as I didn't really explore it all too much with my initial batch of scamps. Given the simple nature of the rest of the work in the set that im doing, I'm looking at a simple silhouette for it (which the top left one suits well) - not only will this look consistant, itll mean it will be alot more efficient time wise when it comes to the final production.
These are the initial papercraft pieces I presented in the final crit, pre-editting and not digitally printed. I like the way the stamps and the postcards are looking (they should look especially nice after some editting) I changed the orientation of the stamps because upon playing with the paper, the composition worked better landscape - but I'm really not happy with this poster design. In my head and in thumb format, I thought it might look really nice and minimal but not only does it not really capture Charlie Chaplin in the best way, I think the composition just looks really weird and definately isn't my strongest.
Feedback from the final crit. I agree with a lot of what people put - especially due to there been a lack of final resolution at this point. As a result of this crit i'm going to redo the final poster to something a bit more suitable to charlie chaplin, and neaten the stamps and postcards to make them appropriate for printing
